8. Device Permissions

Trip.Aid requests access to the following device resources only when you choose to use the related features:

• Camera: Trip.Aid uses your camera when you choose to take and upload a photo, for example a picture of accommodation, an activity, a receipt or a trip memory.
• Photo Library: Trip.Aid accesses your photo library when you choose an existing image to upload, for example a holiday photo, booking confirmation, receipt or activity idea.
• Location: Trip.Aid uses your location while you use the app to show your position on a map and help you find nearby places to add to a trip.
• Microphone: Trip.Aid uses the microphone only when you choose to record a voice message in group chat.
• Speech Recognition: Trip.Aid uses speech recognition only when you choose to dictate a chat message or trip note.

Trip.Aid does not access your contacts, calendar, Bluetooth, local network, motion sensors, Face ID, or advertising tracker.
